Jonathan Campbell is a Catholic evangelist, speaker, writer, and founder of Calm After The Storm, a ministry helping people discover healing, identity, and purpose after life’s storms. Drawing from his own journey through brokenness, recovery, separation, and spiritual transformation, Jonathan speaks openly about surrender and the freedom found in living from our identity in Christ. He is a dad of two teenaged boys, a community volunteer in Dartmouth, and has two decades of experience in sports media and communications. He holds a degree in journalism from the University of King’s College and brings a storyteller’s heart to helping others encounter God’s transforming love.

Born in Cape Breton but I’ve lived in Halifax for the last 40 years. Married - wife Patty and have 2 children…Patrick and Jenna. Both live in Halifax. Currently assigned to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Dartmouth, where I serve with Fr James Mallon and Fr Johni Matthew. I am responsible for the marriage sacramental preparation part of the Parish Pastoral Council, as well as look after various pastoral duties. Since 2021 I’ve been part of the Inter-faith Committee, a national board which advises Corrections Canada as to the religious needs of the incarcerated in federal institutions. For recreation I enjoy hiking and camping, sailing and enjoy the game of soccer/football. I’ve been fortunate enough to have walked the Camino de Santiago twice.
Mark Young

Mark grew up in the Valley and attended Saint Mary’s University where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree. It was during this time that he met his wife Bonnie, and they have been married for 43 years. Their son, Sebastian, is married to Emilie and their daughter Evelyn was born in April.
Mark spent his career in the Financial Services Industry and is now semi-retired.
Mark has lived in Clayton Park for the last 30 years. He is an active member of Saint Benedict Parish where he has been involved in many ministries. He continues to seek opportunities that will allow him to grow in his knowledge of our faith.
