Fr. James Mallon

Fr James is pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and founder of the Divine Renovation ministry.
Fr James is also the author of the best-selling book Divine Renovation: From A Maintenance to a Missional Parish, an engaging guide for parishes seeking to cultivate vibrant and dynamic faith communities centered on missionary discipleship. In 2016, Fr James also authored the Divine Renovation Guidebook, a step by step manual for transforming a parish. The message of Divine Renovation has resonated in the hearts of tens of thousands of pastors and the laity throughout the world. It has inspired and motivated them to act and seek help in transforming their own faith community. To answer their needs, the Divine Renovation Ministry was created.
In 2019, Fr James co-authored the book, Unlocking Your Parish with Ron Huntley an inspiring and practical read on Alpha as a powerful tool for evangelization and discipleship. Fr James latest book, Beyond the Parish released in April 2020 offers a thought provoking analysis of the challenges the church faces along with the practical tools that will support parish and diocesan leaders in bringing about parish renewal.
He currently resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In addition to his ministry, Fr James loves soccer, movies, photography, dogs, everything Apple and good single malt scotch.
Father Isaac Longworth

Fr. Isaac Longworth grew up in Woodstock, Ontario, the eldest of 7 children. He felt called to the priesthood and to the Companions of the Cross and completed his studies at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. He was ordained a Catholic priest in June 2023 and is serving in his first assignment as one of the associate pastors at Saint Benedict Parish, working with Fr. Simon Lobo.
Mark Young

Mark grew up in the Valley and attended Saint Mary’s University where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree. It was during this time that he met his wife Bonnie, and they have been married for 43 years. Their son, Sebastian, is married to Emilie and their daughter Evelyn was born in April.
Mark spent his career in the Financial Services Industry and is now semi-retired.
Mark has lived in Clayton Park for the last 30 years. He is an active member of Saint Benedict Parish where he has been involved in many ministries. He continues to seek opportunities that will allow him to grow in his knowledge of our faith.
